Terms and Conditions Season Quayside Ltd


Minimum spend


Monday – Thursday    min spend on a 4 hour Time allocation                                                                                            £1000

For the whole venue all spaces for the whole day from 9am – 1 am min spend                                                              £5000


To Reserve a date with Season Quayside

A 30% Deposit will be required of the minimum spend amount of the booking


If the minimum spend is not met on the day of the event the client will make up the difference which will be due to paid on the night of the event. This is mostly relevant for cash bar nights. Pre ordered food and beverage packages will be due for payment no later than 7 days before the events and highlighted on the event sheet.

All booking fees received are 50% non-refundable in the case of cancelation anytime no less than 4 weeks before the event date

For cancelations less than 4 weeks before the event date the booking fee is 100% non- refundable.

All booking fees are 100% transferrable to a new date pending venue availability.


Payment methods 


Payment methods available include bank transfer, debit card, credit card, cheque and cash. Note that credit and debit  card transactions will incur a fee of 1.4% + 20 p per transaction


Additional Deposit


An additional deposit may be required for all non-service bookings when glassware, crockery or utensils etc. are required – also for Bar hire  / Big Screen Hire / External Bridal Companies for decor


Booking Confirmation


Once the Client’s deposit/s have been received, an updated Event summary sheet will be issued by Season Quayside together with a formal confirmation Email which will include your draft menu, event summary and estimated costs based on the number of guests and selections made by the Client.

Once a date has been secured a client tasting session can be arranged pending the type of event planned at a cost of £120 per couple payable at Season Quayside on the day of the tasting.


All bookings are considered provisional until Season Quayside has received your booking fee. Full payment of your booking fee is considered acceptance of our full terms and conditions.


Please note that all our menus are subject to seasonal change due to availability of produce. All offers, menus and pricing are subject to change, this includes all bookings made in advance.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies


Season Catering will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Client’s menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 25 working days prior to the event).


Alcohol Sale

Season Quayside is currently licensed to sell alcohol for consumption on premises from 11am till 1am; Monday to Sunday. Consumption of alcohol (and food) on Terrace area will be limited to 10pm; Monday to Sunday.

Should need arise we can apply for extension of hours however we would need to be notified at least 3 months prior to the function, the to allow us time to contact and get approval from Licensing Board. There will be a fee payable for such extension.

Please note alcohol will not sold or served to anyone below the age of 18. Our staff might need to ask young people for an ID,  to verify their age.

No alcohol will be sold or served to people who behave in disorderly manner or appear to be drunk. Our staff may ask for support from the Client or their delegated guests if such circumstances occur.


Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.


If it is Client’s preference to have Recorded Music or Live Performance during their event, it must be noted that all amplified music and vocals shall be so controlled as to be inaudible in neighbouring residential premises. As Season Catering is responsible for adhering to these rules, it will be our duty to remind the Client and their guests to stick to the noise limits. Non-compliance to these rules would be a breach of our Terms and Conditions and Season Quayside would be forced to terminate the event without any refund payable to the Client.

Conduct of Guests  and Closure rights

The Client and their guests should arrive at the premises at agreed time, unless pre-approved by the Management prior to the event. Early arriving guests might be denied entry as it could interfere with another group and with the set up.

The Client and their guests agree to vacate the premises at agreed time to allow for the clean-up. Any delay might result in accumulating extra costs by the Client.

Waterways on Commercial Quay

Season Quayside has clearly marked warning signs of water hazard on the Commercial Quay . All Children must be supervised when seating or standing in this area at all times. All adults should also take necessary precautions to avoid falling into water. Season Quayside takes no responsibility for any liability in relation to the water hazard ..


Client’s use of Season Quayside Property and Client’s Personal Property or Gifts


The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by Season Quayside  for the event, including any issues caused by the Client guests.

The use of candles by the Client for centre pieces or decoration where Season Quayside  have supplied table linen is strictly prohibited unless approved by Season Management

Any damaged linen because of the use of felt tip pens will result in an additional charge payable by the Client after the event (a separate area for   colouring, can be arranged with suitable table coverings, please ask for details)

Season Quayside  will not be held responsible for the theft, lost or damage to any personal effects  of the Client or gifts brought onto premises by the Client’s guests.

The Client will be held responsible for any damage caused to furniture / Speakers / T.V Screens / Plants  and décor within and adjacent to Season Quayside during the event and liable for the costs of repairs or replacement .


Season Quayside accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items left in its care. All items are left at the owner’s risk.

Business Ownership


  1. If Season Quayside  as a business is sold to a new company or individual all bookings will be transferrable to the new owner
  2. The existing terms and conditions in place with Season Quayside  and event structure will remain the same and be passed       onto                    the new owner to adhere to and complete


12 Liability of Season Quayside


Season Quayside  accepts  no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing Season Quayside  Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.


Force Majeure


Season  Quayside  shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Season Catering’s control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, Government act  or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
